Fishing
Society no. 26 in Wegrow, according to the Polish Fishing Association (PZW), carries out the following projects:
Environmetal and water protection:
- Cyclical cleaning up the area around the reservoir
- Hardening and levelling the entrance to the reservoir
- Controlling and arranging fishing sites by Liwiec river
- Cyclical controlling by Social Fishing Guard operating by the Society
Fish palnting economy
- During spring months fish planting (pike fry) in Liwca river in the section between Grodzisk and Ludwinow.
- During autumn months - cyprinid fish planting.
Sports activity
- Under-Ice Championship of the Society (the reservoir)
- Teenagers Competition for the Society Cup (the reservoir)
- Ground Competition - Championship of the Society (the reservoir)
- Competition on Children’s Day (the reservoir)
- Family Competition (the reservoir)
- 24-hour Fishing Marathon (the reservoir)
Educational activity with a group of teenagers
- Weekly meetings with a group of teenagers in the seat of the Society
- Organising practical activities by the reservoir in Wegrow
- Cleaning up of the areas close to the reservoir and Liwiec River
